My name is Clement V. Schettino, feel free to call me Clem. I am an advanced collector of Early American Numismatics. I am a Life member of The Colonial Coin Collectors Club (C4) and have been a member since its inception; also the Early American Coppers (EAC), The Colonial Newsletter (CNL), Florida United Numismatists (FUN) and The American Numismatic Association (ANA).
I specialize primarily in U.S. Colonials, Early State issues from 1785 to 1788, and British & Irish Contemporary Counterfeit (Non Regal) halfpence and farthings. I have also been known to dabble in Spanish American Colonials, primarily the Cobs.
Over the last 20 years, I have assembled 90 different varieties of New Jersey State Coppers dating from 1786 to 1788. Iíve also assembled collections of Fugio Coppers and Machin's Mills counterfeit halfpence. Due to the fact that these coins have become rather scarce and quite expensive, I have been gravitating toward collecting and researching Contemporary Counterfeit British & Irish halfpence and farthings.
Do to an early retirement the time has now come for me to part with my collections, I sincerely hope that youíll find a few pieces and that youíll enjoy them as much as I have. Please feel free to look around and email me with any questions you may have.
